Traditional Buddhist Meditation. Learn the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Cultivation of Loving Kindness meditations. Six-week course, every Tuesday evening 7-9pm, 1 March to 5 April. Cost: by donation.

Stupa Anniversary
Come to Sudarshanaloka Retreat Centre to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the dedication of the Stupa to Dhardo Rimpoche. On this day too we remember loved ones who have died, as well as the passing away of the Buddha (the Parinirvana).

Retreats are an excellent opportunity to deepen your meditation practice and enjoy the company of other people who are developing their self awareness. The structure of retreats gives ample time for meditation, reflection and relaxation.

Buddhafield Big Summer Retreat
Free-form outdoor retreat at Sudarshanaloka Retreat Centre. Camping, meditation, Buddhist practice and play.

Our retreat programme mainly runs in conjunction with that of the Auckland Buddhist Centre. Some of these retreats are held at Sudarshanaloka Retreat Centre while others are held on the Awhitu Peninsula or other venues. Contact us for details.
